PCB introduces loan window for remaining National T20 Cup matches

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has put in a lot of effort to improve the quality of domestic competitions and the National T20 Cup is one of the best. The cricket board has put in money into improving the coverage of the cup in Pakistan and has ensured a greater number of viewers as than it ever has before.

The only criticism the National T20 Cup has faced to date is the inequities among the teams. To fix this, PCB has announced a loan window.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has put in a lot of effort to improve the quality of domestic competitions and the National T20 Cup is one of the best. The cricket board has put in funds into improving the coverage of the cup in Pakistan and has ensured a greater number of viewers that it has ever had.

The only criticism the National T20 Cup has faced to date is the lack of balance between the different teams. In order to improve this, PCB has announced a loan window.

KP lift National Under-13 Cup

KARACHI: KP followed in the steps of their senior male teams as they acquiesced to their National Under-13 Cup title by beating Southern Punjab by two wickets at the UBL Sports Complex in Karachi on Sunday.

The winners presented with a check of 350,000 rupees for their achievements while Southern Punjab received an amount of 250,000 rupees.

It was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s fifth win within 12 months. The previous year, in their 2020-21 campaign, they took home the Pakistan Cup and in the 2021-22 campaign, they took home the National T20, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and National U19 Cup trophies.

Southern Punjab, batting first after winning toss, achieved 147 in the 30 overs. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa slipped to 92 for seven, but he fought back to surpass the goal in 27.5 overs, with two wickets remaining.

Nafees Akhtar scored 44 runs not out, and he racked up 49 runs of value together with Naveed Arbab (26) to bring his team home. Nafees faced 57 balls , and scored five fours.

Southern Punjab opener Mohammad Umar scored 56 off the 76-balls, with seven fours to take his team to 147. To Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulkfal Zain was the third wicket to take for 13 runs While Naveed and Nafees each took two wickets.

Southern Punjab’s Mohammad Umar (198 runs) is declared as the best batter. Junaid Khan win the best bowler’s trophy due to his 13 wickets, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Zinul Abideen was named the most efficient wicketkeeper. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Akbar Ali declared the most successful player for the tournament, scoring 208 runs while picking up 11 wickets.

The next day, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the the chance for another win to go on their collection when their Whites face Southern Punjab Blues in the National U16 final at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
